Tuition
Private Tuition for Science Subjects to GCSE and Chemistry to A - level

The lessons will be booked to suit us both. The frequency is usually once per week, but can be different according to your needs.
Lessons last around 1 hour, and you should arrive a few minutes before the lesson is due to start. You should bring normal classroom equipment with you (pens, pencils, excercise book etc). If your personal programme requires anything else, we will discuss it when necessary.
Depending on the objectives of the student and the stage of their education, the lessons can follow several different patterns (or probably be a mixture of some or all of them...).
1. "Shadow" school lessons.
Go through and expand on the material recently learned at school. Ensure that recent lessons have been well understood so that the student can get maximum benefit from future lessons in school2. Work steadily through the whole syllabus already covered at school, concentrating on parts of the syllabus with which the student has difficulties, or wants to improve. This is a great revision aid, and helps material to be assimilated into long term memory.
3. Work through questions, including past examination papers. This helps the student get used to answering questions in a limited time period and improves exam timing and technique.
First Step: Getting to know each other
The first session, which is offered at a greatly reduced rate, is the occasion for the tutor and student to get to know each other.
We will discuss the subject or subjects to be taught, the objectives of the student, and timing and frequency of any subsequent lessons.

Bring a Friend!!
Students often prefer to study with a friend. If you have friend who needs the same lessons as you, it is more fun (and more cost effective) to share.
